The Groove Train group is a rapidly growing collective of café/bar/restaurants located in carefully selected, prominent street and shopping centre environments. The Groove Train is a private, companyowned business operation, jointly owned by Rocky Veneziano, Joseph Kolenda and John Kolenda.
The Groove Train began with Rocky Veneziano opening the initial store at Bridge Road in Melbourne in 1998. Rocky effectively foresaw the need for quality food and coffee at reasonable prices in innercity Richmond and was rewarded with immediate success.
By the time there were four restaurants Rocky had formed a business partnership with Joe and John Kolenda. This partnership has seen the number of Groove Trains double with the expansion into Queensland and further plans to spread into NSW.
