This huge club has gone from strength to strength since its formation in 1954. Following the amalgamation of the golf and bowling club, members and visitors can enjoy extra facilities, including new bar areas, affordable dining venues, gymnasium, live entertainment and Yo Yo's childrens room to keep the kidlets happy while you relax in the Bistro. The Bounty Motel, whilst not affiliated with the club, is right next door and can offer quality 4 star accommodation for visitors.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE - The main club includes the Dining Rooms, which are open Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm for the popular 'all you can eat' buffet, great value at just $29 for adults and $14.50 for children under 12 years. Cedars Bistro & Iron Bone Grill are open daily for lunch 12-2pm and dinner 6pm-8.30pm, serving cooked to order meals and a bain-marie selection. Check the specials board for a tempting array of meals created by the chef. On Thursday evenings Cedars has a soup, choice of roast and dessert deal for just $12.90! The Coffee Patch serves fine coffee and light snacks and cakes, open daily from 10.45am until 2pm and re opening at 5.30pm till late.
Six separate function venues cater for all manner of events from training seminars and lunches through to elaborate celebrations. Capacity ranges from 1000 people in the Auditorium to just 30 in the smaller rooms.
