The Mount Gambier Christmas Parade draws people from around the region who line the main street to view the annual Parade running from Commercial Street East to Vansittart Park in Commercial Street West. You will find fun for all ages with Christmas themed floats, Giant Christmas tree, Father Christmas plus many more!
The Parade starts at 11am and continues for approximately one hour. Walking along the parade will be clowns and brass bands from local and interstate. The local community, schools and organisations get behind this event every year with prizes offered for the best float and entrant in various categories. Father Christmas always makes a special appearance at the end of the float. In 2016 the Mount Gambier Christmas Parade is celebrating its 57th year....
